'Kludde', for piano solo, is published in 'No(w) Piano', an edition of MATRIX (New Music Centre). Pianists Elisa Medinilla, Jeroen Malaise, Katrijn Friant and Laurence Mekhitarian have joined their forces with MATRIX to gather the newest music for amateur pianists and their teachers. For the commemoration of the 70th birthday of James Ensor's death, Bart Van Kerchove composed the piece 'Masques et squelettes' for flute and piano, and also 'Hareng Saur', a song for mezzo-soprano and piano (lyrics by Dirk Ooms). The works were performed by Annelies Langenaekens (dwarsfluit) en Mieke Goetghebeur (mezzo-sopraan) at Ostend, on the 17th of april.

In december 2016, Bart Van Kerchove won the 1st Prize of the International Composition Competition for Piano 'Concurso Fidelio' (Madrid), with 'Notes Lydiennes pour la main droite et les touches blanches', a piano work for the right hand and white keys only.

'B'ifurcation Point (piano solo), was selected for Fingerprints #2, a CD with 'works of 23 contemporary Flemish composers, so called 'fingerprints' of the actual classical music in Flanders and Brussels'. A production by Klara, ComAV and Flanders Arts Insitute. 'B'ifurcation Point was performed and recorded by Dorenda Notermans (piano), and broadcasted by Klara on the 11th of july.

On the demand of Joop Verzele, mayor of Kruishoutem (Kruisem), Bart Van Kerchove composed the piece 'EGG', for mixed ensemble (10 musicians), for the celebration of 50 years Music Education in Kruishoutem. Kruishoutem (Kruisem) is called 'City of Eggs', which explains the title of the work. EGG represents also a 3-notes motive, on which the whole composition is built.
Kasia
2008
Bart Van Kerchove composed the music for the short film 'Kasia' (2008). 'Kasia' was part of the Official Selection for the International Film Festival of Cannes (2009 - Shortfilm) and won several prizes on international film festivals, e.g. Abu Dhabi.
2000
On the demand of viola player Kris Matthynssens and cellist Pieter Stas, both members of the Goeyvaerts Strijktrio, Bart Van Kerchove composed 'Oratio Brevis', for the project 'Miniaturen voor Archipel'. This CD compiles several miniatures of 25 contemporary Flemish composers.
